PAOLO TRAINA (>530 ISI citations, H-index = 13, source: SCOPUS). Ph.D in Physics (2008). 6-months internship at Elsag Datamat (currently Leonardo s.p.a) Quantum Optics Lab in Genoa (2004). He works at INRIM since 2005, being a permanent scientist since 2018.
His main interests concern quantum information, quantum communication, quantum metrology & sensing. In recent years, his main activities concern color centers in diamond as single-photon sources and quantum sensors.
He is coordinator of JRP EMPIR 20IND05 QADeT, guest editor of upcoming MDPI “Sensors” special issue: “Novel sensors and techniques in Quantum imaging applications”, member of the Local Organising Committee for the international workshops: “The Time Machine Factory” (Three editions, 2012-2019).
