Carmine obtained a PhD with Quantum Correlation Group in November 2020. His project dealt with classical and quantum superresolution techniques for sensing and metrology and is joint with the Manufacturing Metrology team in the M3 Engineering Department. He joined the Quantum Optics team of INRIM in 2021 where he studies quantum reading & pattern recognition with quantum photonic states.
