Priyasheel obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Physics from IIT Delhi in India and did his Master’s course in Applied Physics at the University of Tokyo in Japan, during which he studied generation and detection of squeezed light using a waveguide.

He is currently enrolled as a PhD student in Metrology at Politecnico di Torino and doing his research at the Quantum Optics group at INRiM. He is working on weak measurements, experiments on foundations of quantum mechanics and state protection.
