Giuseppe Ortolano obtained his Master degree in “Physics of complex systems” at the University of Turin in 2019. He is currently a Ph.D. student at Politecnico di Torino doing his research at the Quantum Optics group at INRiM.

His research work, both theoretical and experimental, focuses on quantum sensing protocols such as quantum enhanced measurement schemes and quantum hypothesis testing.
